So the Ruby is a tribrid… What’s so special about it?

Hey there, Travis here.

Today, I would like to take some time and show you
guys one of the special designs we have on the internals of the Ruby:
The ICRS – Individual Chamber Resonance System.
This is the reason why the Ruby is capable of perform the way it does, and it
is the result of our research over the years.

“… The RUBY features an exceptionally
wide sound stage, encompassing both horizontal and vertical dimensions. This
remarkable soundscape is made possible by Eminent Ears’ unique Individual
Chamber Resonance System (ICRS). Drawing inspiration from the arrangement of an
orchestra and the meticulous acoustic design of concert halls, the ICRS
technology employed in the RUBY ensures a captivating and immersive audio
experience.

By precisely adjusting the distance
and angle of each Balanced Armature and Electrostatic Driver, as well as
implementing individual chambers for each group of drivers within the IEM, the ICRS
achieves a resonance effect akin to that of a concert hall. This enables the
RUBY to deliver an exceptionally wide sound stage, as well as excellent
separation between instruments. As a result, while the RUBY is suited for a
wide variety of music, the RUBY is especially ideal for instrumental music,
such as orchestral recordings.”
