Hello there, we are Eminent Ears.

Eminent Ears, based in Hong Kong, initially emerged as a simple idea among a few close friends: the research and creation of IEMs as a hobby.

It all started when one day, one of us just asked: if we enjoy listening to music with IEMs all around the world, why not try to make one ourselves? And thus, our journey began in 2019, just as a group of friends, researching how the drivers work, buying them off the Internet, putting them into printed IEM shells, and seeing how it goes.

Fast-forward to five years later, in early 2024, we got to a point where we believe we have something really good in our hands, an IEM prototype that we believe is good enough for the global stage. We wanted to show that to the world, just to see how people feel about it. We replicated that prototype into a shiny red shell, designed our official Eminent Ears logo, and just like that, our first real IEM project was born: The Ruby.

Eminent Ears began as our passion project, something we did as a hobby, but as we move along in our journey as IEM researcher and designers, our vision changed from just making IEMs to satisfy our own curiosity, to our current mission statement: to create well-tuned IEMs that would be both affordable and accessible, promoting sounds of the highest quality to the global stage.

As for what we are doing these days? We are listening to the people in the community, gathering feedback, and trying our best in providing great sounds to music fans around the world. From our flagship, The Ruby, to The Sapphire, our more relaxed, accessible side-grade, and with more products in the works, our eventual goal is very simple: to have something for everyone.
